A man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a sleeping Barrie woman who killed herself before the case got to trial.
In Barrie court today, a judge said he had no doubt as to the accused's guilt.
20 year old Kassidi Coyle took her own life four months after the incident in July 2016.
The judge ruled that statements Coyle made in a 911 call, to friends and in a video statement to police were admissible as evidence.
39 year old Shawn Roy of Quebec argued he was drunk and did not remember what happened after he climbed into the wrong bed at a friend's house.
