Tottenham High School Closed Over Threat

Tottenham | by Ian MacLennan
Police say the investigation revealed the threat was not directed at that school.

A Catholic high school in Tottenham was put in lockdown this morning,  and eventually closed, and the students sent home, after a threat of a violent act.

OPP say their investigation revealed a text message originated from the Brampton area and there was no information directed specifically at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School.

A high school with a similar name in Brampton posted on its website that rumours of a threat against the school have been circulating since yesterday, and that Peel Regional Police are at the school as the investigation continues.
